The Pollinator Project at White Memorial

The Conservation Committee created a garden at White Memorial Conservation Center to attract butterflies. Over the years of the garden's development, it became apparent that the garden attracted many other pollinators besides butterflies and the garden is now called the Pollinator Project. The objective is to demonstrate to visitors the number and variety of beneficial pollinators that can be attracted to a garden with the right mix of plants. The Conservation Committee weeds, waters and does general maintenance on the garden throughout the year.
